Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation distributed food items to people living with disabilities in the State.
In a heartwarming display of commitment to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable populations The commissioner Adamu Aliyu Kibiya who led the distributions emphasized the ministry’s dedication to providing relief to those in need .
While making remark Adamu Aliyu Kibiya said , Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has been working tirelessly to provide humanitarian interventions and poverty alleviation programs to vulnerable populations in Kano state.
“This effort is part of the ministry’s mandate to bring about humanitarian intervention, provide effective coordination of national and international interventions, and implement emergency-related policies”
During the distribution, Kibiya highlighted the governor’s commitment to support vulnerable populations, including people with disabilities.
He emphasized Governor Yusuf’s administration who prioritized the welfare of his citizens, adding that this initiative is a testament to that commitment.
However Kibiya Stated that the distribution of food items to people with disabilities in Kano State is a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and social welfare.
