In an impressive display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, Northwest University, Kano’s basketball team has emerged victorious at the 1st Kanawa Tertiary Institution Basketball Championship.
The championship, organized and sponsored by the DAM Foundation, brought together top tertiary institutions in Kano State.
Northwest University’s basketball team rose to the challenge, demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork, and ultimately emerging as one of the top teams in the competition.
In his remarks Prof. Salisu Garba, Chairman of the Sports Advisory Committee and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin), who represented the Vice Chancellor of the institution,expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the DAM Foundation for organizing the championship.
Adding that the DAM Foundation initiative has been praised for promoting sports development, unity, and healthy competition among tertiary institutions in Kano State.
He expressed the university’s appreciation for the foundation’s efforts as a testament to the positive impact of philanthropy in education and sports.
