Honourable Kibiya expressed gratitude to Honourable Garo and the management of the Ministry for the visit. He noted that the Ministry of Special Duties is the first to pay a courtesy visit since he assumed duty on January 6, 2025.
Honourable Kibiya highlighted the Ministry’s Mandate, established 10 months ago by the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, to support vulnerable and less privileged individuals across the State.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation collaborates with various State Ministries, including Special Duties, Education, Agriculture, Health, and others, to provide Humanitarian aid.
Honourable Kibiya emphasized the importance of Honourable Garo’s experience as a former House of Representatives member in strengthening the relationship between Kano State Humanitarian Ministry and National-level both inside and outside the Country.
In his remarked, Honourable Garo thanked Honourable Kibiya for hosting the visit and acknowledged the Executive Governor’s appointment of a dedicated and competent Commissioner to lead the Humanitarian Ministry.
The TIMES HAUSA reports,Honourable Garo pledged to collaborate with Honourable Kibiya to achieve the present Administration’s goals, prioritizing vulnerable and less privileged individuals in the State.
