The Executive Secretary Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) Dr Rahila Aliyu Muktar stated this Today during a Capacity building to KSCHMA Desk officers and Incharges of Primary health facilities across the state at the Agency's Conference Room on digitisation of healthcare services to align with Global initiatives. Dr Rahila said digital transformation has the potential to revolutionise healthcare, improving access, quality and efficiency. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of digital health and its applications, you can become an advocate for positive Change in your facilities and contribute to achieving healthcare goals. Adding that this training will help the participants to understand the evolving landscape of digital health and how it intersects with the pharmaceutical sector. The aims of the workshop is to understand the impact of digital health on patients and healthcare providers as well as ethical, legal and security considerations in digital healthcare. The participants will be inculcated with a broader perspective on how digital health can contribute to achieving healthcare goals in line with Sustainable development goals 8 (SDG 8) and Universal Health Coverage goals 2030. The training which is scheduled for 9days will provides the participants with insights into the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive positive Change in their facilities.
