
In his move to assess the welfare and provided supports to vulnerable children, Commissioner Adamu Aliyu Kibiya of the Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation visited an Almajiri camp that was earlier evacuated in Kano.
During the visit, Commissioner Kibiya demonstrated his commitment to humanitarian causes and his dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals in Kano State .

The evacuation of the Almajiri camp is part of the state government’s efforts to address the challenges faced by these vulnerable individuals. Commissioner Kibiya’s visit is a step towards ensuring that they receive the necessary support and care.
During the visit ,Commissioner Kibiya assessed the welfare of the evacuated Almajiri children and identified areas where support is needed.
Kibiya emphasised his supports to the individuals, including food, clothing, and other essential items,in order to bring positive change to the lives of these vulnerable children.

So far kano state Government evacuated no fewer than 230 Almajiris from the streets of metropolis since the exercise began in December 2024
