Honorable Adamu Aliyu Kibiya Kano state commissioner of commerce investment and Industry said Kano state government under the leadership of Engr Abba Kabir Yusif will soon announced a groundbreaking initiative of financial loan of up to N25 billion to eligible entrepreneurs.
The commissioner made the remarks in an interview with Aminci Radio, in the program tittle Ilimi Hasken Rayuwa,said about 70% of the funds will go directly to small business enterprises . aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and job creation.
Kibiya also urged the business owners to hurry up and register with the Ministry of Commerce to be able to receive the loan.
“Registration with the Ministry of Commerce is required in order to receive the loan”
“People should try to come and register with ministry of commerce because usually when this kind of debt or other support comes, we start looking at those who have a register with the Ministry of Commerce, through that process we can identify you as real business owner not a fake one .”
According to him ,the initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to restore Kano’s reputation as a center of commerce.
“We’re committed to supporting small business owners, youths ,women, everyone to grow their enterprises and contribute to the state’s economic development,”
Meanwhile kibiya explain their New system at the ministry of commerce,they are going to provide capital to women with small and petty petty businesses in the state.
“ We are taking Data so far, in order to give them capital to develop their business.”
The Ministry of Commerce in Kano State, has several key goals and objectives aimed at promoting economic growth, entrepreneurship, and trade within the state.
