
The League of Northern Democrats (LND) has expressed grave concern over allegations made by the President of Niger Republic, accusing France of complicity in funding and equipping Boko Haram.
Making it known to The TIMES HAUSA in a statement issued today by the organization’s spokesperson, Dr. Ladan Salihu,
Dr Ladan Salihu emphasized that the government must provide concrete, cogent, and verifiable evidence to refute and clarify these allegations.

The allegations touch on the core of Nigeria’s national security and collective future.
Dr Ladan however,said allegations, which implicate prominent Nigerian officials, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former NIA DG Ahmed Rufa’i, and the NSA Nuhu Ribadu, have sparked widespread concern.
“Given the severe impact of Boko Haram’s insurgency in Northern Nigeria, the LND is calling for a transparent and immediate response from the Nigerian government to uphold national security and restore public trust.”
The group is calling on Ahmed Rufa’i, and Nuhu Ribadu to provide concrete, cogent, and verifiable evidence to refute and clarify the allegations.
The LND is urging the National Assembly to constitute an investigative committee to probe the claims thoroughly.
LND also believes that a transparent investigation is necessary to restore public trust and confidence in the government.
