As part of efforts to enhance governance and public service delivery,Kano state governor,Alhaji Abba Kabir yusif,has nominated six people to serve as commissioners .the Nominees bring a wealthy of experience and expertise to their respective roles.
The TIMES HAUSA reports, The nominees, announced by the speaker of the house of assembly , honorable Ismail Jibrin Falgore, on Monday, include:
– Ibrahim Abdullahi Wayya, a seasoned diplomat and ambassador
– Shehu Wada Sagagi, a former Chief of Staff to the Governor
– Dr. Dahiru Mohd Hashim, an expert in his field
– Dr. Isma’il Dan Maraya, a renowned professional
– Gaddafi Sani Shehu, a skilled administrator
– Abdulkadir AbdulSalam, a seasoned public servant
The nominees are expected to undergo screening by the Kano State House of Assembly on Tuesday.
This development is part of Governor Yusuf’s efforts to reconstitute his cabinet and enhance the delivery of public services in the state .
