Reactivation of Community Policing Groups Aimed at Enhancing Security in Kano LGA Level
The Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, Dr. Mani Tsoho, reactivate Community Policing groups to work closely with other security agencies in the area.
Making it known while introducing the Community Policing group to security agencies in a meeting held at the Gwarzo Islamic Center.
Dr. Mani Tsoho called for unity in advancing security matters in Gwarzo Local Government and urged other community groups to continue providing their support at all times to enhance security in the area.
In his remarks the Chairman of the Community Policing group, Alhaji Ashiru S. Kafi, thanked the Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government and security agencies for their support.
He outlined some of the objectives and reasons for establishing the group, including assisting security agencies in their duties and providing intelligence to the local government to manage security matters.
Also speaking the DPO in charge of Gwarzo local Government , represented by Lawan Mande, along with Army Officer O.O. Ogodogu, and the DSS Officer in charge of Gwarzo Zone, OC Mustapha, were among those who delivered speeches during the meeting.
District Head of Gwarzo, and Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta of Kano, Alhaji Bello Abubakar Gwarzo, advised the group to focus on their duties and thanked the Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, Dr. Mani Tsoho, and security agencies for their efforts.
He also urged Imams of Friday mosques to continue praying for peace in Gwarzo Local Government, Kano State, and the country at large.
The meeting was attended by security agencies, including the Police, DSS, and others, and was an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss ways to improve security in the area.
