Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been recognized as the Governor of the Year 2024 (Good Governance) by Vanguard Newspaper. This prestigious award acknowledges his transformative achievements in the education and healthcare sectors.
The award ceremony, held in Lagos, brought together eminent personalities from across the country who were honored for excellence in leadership and service.

This award is the latest recognition for Governor Yusuf, who has also received the Governor of the Year (Education) award from Leadership Newspaper and is scheduled to receive the Africa Good Governance Award from Heritage Times Magazine later this month in Morocco.
