The Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs, Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on being named “Leader of the Year” by Leadership Newspaper. This prestigious award recognizes the governor’s tireless efforts in driving development and improving the lives of Kano State citizens.

Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs Adamu Aliyu Kibiya emphasizing Governor Yusuf’s leadership, by saying Kano State has made significant strides in education and healthcare. With state budget that has been strategically allocated, with N168.4 billion (31%) going to education and N90.6 billion to healthcare.
Adding that Governor Yusif launched so many initiative like Abba care program to support vulnerable groups, including sickle cell patients.
“these initiatives have not only improved the quality of education and healthcare but also increased access to these essential services, recruit qualified personnel, and implement innovative programs that benefit the citizens and also increased access to these essential services, particularly for the most vulnerable populations in the state.”
Kibiya however praised the governor’s commitment to humanitarian activities, citing recent gestures such as providing cows and clothes for Sallah celebrations at all rehabilitation centers across the 44 local government in za the state. Which demonstrates the governor’s compassion and dedication to positively impacting the lives of Kano State residents.
“The governor’s leadership has been exemplary, and his commitment to Kano State’s development is unwavering,” Kibiya said.
“Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s vision for Kano State is inspiring, and his efforts to improve education, healthcare, and humanitarian services are making a real difference in the lives of our citizens,” he added.
