In a significant move to bolster its humanitarian efforts, the Kano State Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Honorable Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, received a courtesy visit from representatives of the Muslim Charity Organization and the Better Life for Children and Women Future Foundation.aims to support vulnerable people in the state.
in his welcoming Addressed Honorable Adamu Aliyu Kibiya highlighted the Ministry’s Mandate, established by the present Administration of the Executive Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, to support vulnerable and less privileged individuals across the State.
He assured the Organizations that the Ministry has authentic data on the vulnerable, captured through community leaders across the state.
Making remarks Irfan Rajput, Director of International Programs and Policy of the Muslim Charity Organization expressed their objectives to collaborate with the Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to support the less privileged and vulnerable across the State.
He , emphasized the need for authentic data to facilitate seamless collaboration between the Organizations and the Ministry.
The meeting marks a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between the Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and International Organizations to alleviate poverty and support the vulnerable.
Following the courtesy call, Honourable Adamu Aliyu Kibiya escorted the Muslim Charity Organizations to the Ministry of Education, where they met with the Honourable Commissioner, Ali Haruna Makoda. They also visited the Hajj Camp, where Almajiris are camped, and commended the Executive Governor Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf for his full support to the vulnerable.
This development is in line with the Kano State Government’s efforts to reduce poverty.
