The Executive Secretary Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) Dr Rahila Aliyu Muktar stated this while closing a 3day capacity building to KSCHMA staff on effective utilisation of Microsoft office applications which will improve the Agency's operational efficiency today at Haitel Guest Inn, Kano. Digital solutions need a modern IT foundation to be effective, which will support tech stack for data analytics, telehealth programs and more.
She further says that the goals of digital transformation in healthcare services is to improve patient care and clinician workflows. Also, it will robust security and data processes to protect systems and enterprise information, including sensitive patient data.
Dr Rahila said a Logical data server is underway that should address the five V's of big data analysis: Velocity, Volume, Value, Variety and Veracity.
Stressing that, eliminating data silos and automating data wrangling and integration,as well as recognising unseen patterns and providing new intelligence to service patients and care givers, will offer value across the care continuum. The participants will be acquainted with a comprehensive integration of digital technologies,data analysis and innovative processes to enhance healthcare service delivery.
