The Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has issued an emergency order to provide shelter, food, and other essential items to a mother and her children who have been struggling for survival.
Making it know to the media in a press briefing Commissioner of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Alh Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, expressed deep concern over the family’s situation.
“The family’s plight gained widespread attention on social media, prompting the government to take swift action.
According to Aliyu Kibiya, the mother, is a Christian convert to Islam, lost her husband and faced extreme poverty with her children.
Kibiya Added that , the mother had to beg the school guard for one islamiyya building for permission to stay there at night.and sleep.
“Tragically, the family was attacked by unknown assailants, resulting in the son’s finger being cut off as he tried to protect his relatives.
” The governor’s emergency order aims to provide the family with shelter, food, and medical care, as well as ensure their children’s education is not disrupted.
Atika Yahaya, the victim’s daughter, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Commissioner Adamu Aliyu Kibiya for their support.
“We are in a very bad situation, but with this help, we are grateful to the governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Abba Gida Gida and honorable commissioner for their kind support and contribution,” she said.
Aminci Radio reported that the victim recieved Safe and secure shelter to live temporary before finishing their own,away from the Dangers they previously faced.
Also Government provide them with Bags of Rice and cartons of spaghetti to ensure family well-being and survival.
it provide medical support for the Son’s injury and any other health Concerns.
However government to checkmate and ensure the children’s education is not disrupted, despite their challenging circumstances
